Serving the poor can at times sound like a daunting task. Many people equate serving the poor with feeding children in Africa, or traveling to the rainforest to aid those in need. How many of us will have the opportunity to travel to a poor region in the world to distribute food, clothing, and necessary items? Probably not many of us. However, we all have the opportunity serve those nearest to us. Mother Pauline has taught us to serve Jesus in serving our neighbor, to love Jesus in loving our neighbor. She saw the Lord, whom she loved, in the eyes of the poor, the lonely, and the forgotten. This led her to perform her actions with great love for Christ the Bridegroom. This video is a short presentation of practical ways in which we can follow Mother Pauline's example in our day to day living.

"The way in which a Sister serves her Jesus in the poor is different from the ordinary social worker. The bride ministers differently than the servant girl."

Mother Pauline, Pray for us!
