We are the Temporary Professed
Sisters of Christian Charity
The Sisters of Christian Charity, Daughters of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception, are an active apostolic Congregation in service of the Church.
We are the Temporary Professed Sisters of our community. We have created this blog to be a witness of evangelization in our world, especially for those of our generation who are seeking Christ in a digital age. Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI asked young people to use different means of technology to reach our peers and bring them the light of Christ. He said, "Be sure to announce the Gospel to your contemporaries with enthusiasm. [...] Human hearts are yearning for a world where love endures, where gifts are shared, where unity is built, where freedom finds meaning in truth and where identity is found in respectful communion." We hope that this blog can be a way to "bring the witness of our faith to the digital world."
Please explore our pages and learn more about who we are, how we pray, live, and work. In the words of our Foundress, Blessed Pauline von Mallinckrodt:
"It is a great grace that God should permit us to assist in the spread of his Kingdom."
