The ability to hear is an amazing gift. In today's age of technology and connectedness, there are so many voices that compete with the voice of God. We, as Sisters, are not exempt from the constant noise that surrounds us in our day to day lives. All day long we hear the noise of life. A noise that can be beautiful as the music of children or ugly as complaints and discouragement. As we move throughout the day from prayer to our ministries, we cannot forget to listen for the voice of Christ.
"To catch your whispers..."
The title of our blog reminds us that each day we must never allow ourselves to silence His voice. Christ's voice can be heard in our students, our patients, our classmates, and our Sisters. Above all, we must be attentive to the still small voice that speaks to us in the depths of our hearts. To be deaf to His whispers is to be deaf to our call. Let us open our hearts in love and listen to his voice. AMEN.
